VILLAGE DESIGN ART GALLERY | ART NIGHT

Village Design Gallery presents ART IS OUR WEAPON – Join us for an art-filled evening on Saturday, May 5th for “Art is our Weapon” Opening Night.

Art Is Our Weapon is an inclusive artistic movement created by South Florida artist, Bibi Cervantes, on February 15th, the day after the Parkland tragedy. That day, her paintbrush became her weapon. Her canvass absorbed her pain. Her painting screamed out to the world that through art, we can make a difference.  Cervantes has called this movement, “El Arte Es Nuestra Arma” (Art Is Our Weapon).

This multi-medium exhibition showcases the work of artists who inspired by this movement, get united through peaceful artistic expression.
